Apple Health · Google Health Connect

Your nutrition
stays in sync with your activity.

Connect Apple Health on iPhone or Google Health Connect on Android. CuocoMitra pulls your steps, active energy, workouts, weight, height, and body fat, and turns your dashboard energy ring into a true net-calorie ring (food minus exercise). Permissions are granular: toggle any data type off and the rest still sync. Setup is on the mobile app; the web shows your sync state read-only at /settings?tab=integrations.

Your calorie app and your fitness watch should agree.

Most setups give you two numbers and no math to reconcile them. Here's what goes wrong.

✕ Most apps

Two apps, two numbers

Your calorie tracker says one thing. Your fitness watch says another. Neither knows what the other recorded, so neither balances against your day.

✕ Most apps

All-or-nothing access

Other nutrition apps demand every health permission upfront: heart rate, sleep, location, the whole drawer. Deny one and the integration breaks.

✕ Most apps

No real net-calorie math

Most apps tack “add 30 minutes of cycling” onto your log and call it done. They don't actually balance food against exercise into a single net-calorie figure for the day.

What we read. What we don't. What we do with it.

Three pillars, and the privacy deny list is the second one for a reason.

What we read

Daily step total, active energy, workout sessions (type, duration, calories), weight history, height (once, to calibrate TDEE), and body fat percentage when available. That's it. Six data types, all directly relevant to balancing food against activity.

What we deliberately never read

Even if you grant blanket access, CuocoMitra never reads any of these. They are excluded at the integration layer, not just gated by a setting.

Net-calorie ring math

Daily exercise calories are the dominant of workout-summed total or active-energy total. We deliberately pick the higher one to avoid the well-known double-counting between workout sessions and active energy. The dashboard energy ring then switches to net calories (food minus exercise). Eating back exercise calories is opt-in via your diet profile preference; macro targets don't silently inflate.

Four taps on the mobile app. Then the web shows it read-only.

Setup is mobile-only: iOS HealthKit and Android Health Connect both require a native handshake.

1

Open the mobile app

On iPhone or Android. (Health Sync setup is mobile-only: the web can't talk to HealthKit or Health Connect directly.)

2

Settings → Integrations

Pick Apple Health (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android). The screen lists every data type CuocoMitra will request.

3

Tap Connect, choose what to share

Granular toggles per data type: leave any one off and the rest still sync.

4

Watch the web reflect it

Your sync state shows up read-only at /settings?tab=integrations on the web, including the last-sync timestamp per data type.

Free to sign up. Health Sync unlocks on premium.

Health Sync is a premium feature. Free accounts can see the integrations tab and explore the rest of CuocoMitra, but turning on Apple Health or Google Health Connect requires an active premium plan.

Premium plans are currently invitation-only.

Frequently asked

No, and we deliberately never read them. CuocoMitra only requests steps, active energy, workouts, weight, height, and body fat percentage. Heart rate, HRV, ECG, sleep, blood pressure, blood glucose, oxygen saturation, reproductive or menstrual data, mindfulness sessions, and GPS or location routes are excluded by design. Even if you granted blanket access, the app would not read them.

Stop reconciling two apps. One ring, balanced.

Free to start. No credit card. Connect Apple Health or Google Health Connect on the mobile app the moment you upgrade.
