    Soak Cassava Flakes

    Soak the 200 g of dried cassava flakes in warm water for about 15- minutes, or until they are soft but still have a slight bite. Drain thoroughly in a colander and set aside.

    Ensure the cassava flakes are fully softened before proceeding.

    In a large bowl, first prepare the dressing by combining the 120 ml of palm oil, 30 g of ground crayfish, and the minced scotch bonnet pepper. Then, add the drained cassava flakes, 150 g of ugba (oil bean), chopped onion, and sliced utazi leaves.

    Adjust the amount of pepper to your desired level of spiciness.
